dance & theatre artist

I am a dance and theatre artist living and working between Portugal and England. I am currently developing a dance company alongside dance-artist Andreia Fraga, where our main focus is to create performances and support emerging artists; sharing and expanding artistic relationships between international artists.

My journey in the performing arts started in 2014, studying Acting in Balleteatro - Escola Profissional, where I had the opportunity to not only develop myself as an actor but also gain skills in dramaturgy, physical theatre and directing. I later then began training on the BA (Hons) Dance course at Bath Spa University, training in contemporary dance, where I had the chance to work with several choreographers and companies like Antonia Grove, Impermanence Dance Theatre Company, Lila Dance and Vicki Hearne. It was here where I was able to develop my own practice, technique and creations as a dance and theatre artist, as well as branch out into the creation of screen dance and other similar digital work.

As well as performing and creating my own work, I have assisted choreographers, like Ricardo Ambrózio and Eddy Becquart, as well as taking the role of creative tutor, guiding Performact's students' creative projects through the 2019/20 academic year.
